Bon Jovi Has a Nice Day in Fresno
New Jersey's Other Boss Sells Out Save Mart Center

Photos by Jack Porter, Jr.

Fresno - The 80's pop metal quartet Bon Jovi rolled through Fresno Wednesday night leaving a sold out crowd very satisfied. Fans of old and new filled the Save Mart Center to hear classic songs like "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' on a Prayer," and new songs like "Have a Nice Day" and "Novocain" from the bands latest album.
Following Kerosene Sky, a local band selected to open for the New Jersey band, lead singer Jon Bon Jovi entered the arena from the back and walked with security through the crowd to the stage as the band (Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres) played on.

Jon Bon Jovi, who turns 44 today, blistered through a two-hour set and cleverly goaded the crowd into handling most of the high notes in Livin' On A Prayer. The intense half-hour encore ended with, appropriately, Wanted Dead Or Alive.

Tickets which sold for $100 each for the good seats and $50 for the nose bleeds sold steadily since the announcement of the tour late last year.
