George Strait Rolls Through Fresno
Reining King of Country Sells Out Save Mart Center

Fresno - The reining King of Country Music rolled into Fresno Friday night for a sold out concert at the Save Mart Center. Dressed in a black cowboy hat, starched white shirt and crisp Wranglers, the legendary singer simply stood, guitar in hand, and delivered favorites spanning three decades.
Strait, who has taken an amazing 52 songs to the top of the country charts, played many of them to the packed arena in the round.

Fans waited to slap hands with Strait as he sauntered through a narrow walkway to the stage.  With the stage in the center of the Save Mart Center, Strait played to four front rows every few songs.

There wasn't a bad seat in the arena.
